You could substitute coconut milk however the taste will be entirely different (but nice). Fat-free yogurt is fine to use.

I’m so glad you guys made this recipe. Can you substitute coconut milk (regular or lite) for the milk? Is it ok to use fat-free yogurt?

We got our’s from a sweet shop in India. Some of the larger Indian grocery stores or sweet shops may be able to sell you some.

paneer is a cheese simliar to cottage cheese. It is fairly easy to make too.
