We have never tried to freeze them, but they work very well refrigerated - they still puff up.

5 stars!
Can you do the first part, then freeze them, then take them out and put them in toaster after being frozen and have them like new?

Nice recipe but the toaster limits the size of the roti. I toast/fluff up the rotis directly onto the gas flame. This adds the smoky flavor which instantly reminds you of the tandoor and is also much faster.

A couple of days. I made them and then kept them in the fridge overnight, wrapped in foil. The next day, I brought them down to room-temp and then put them in the the toaster. They still puffed up very well.
