Great vid. Do you know of a way to make almond milk without using a blender.

The speed of the blades in the blender do damage the proteins and other nutrients.

its best to use another method. Ive only just discovered this and am trying to find another way to make almond milk in a more gentle way.

    God Bless.

According to most raw foodists, it IS very important to rinse the almonds thoroughly after soaking.

To answer ods1ODS, regular almonds, the ones you buy at the store, do NOT make cyanide when mixed with water! however there is a type of almond, the bitter almond that can produce cyanide. I don’t think it’s ANY cause for concern because im pretty shure bitter almonds are not sold at youre local Safeway, or anywhere for that matter. Im also pretty shure it’s not as simple as “Just add water”.

If you want to buy a blender from an ordinary store, and can’t find that grinder, then I recommend the Braun blender, which is pretty tough.
Too bad almonds are so darn expensive.

Thanks for tips, just made almond milk without soaking nuts, still tastes great. Also added dates in blender to sweeten. Yum!
