    great tip, personally with young children i wouldn’t suggest it, if they ever got ahold of them, watch out. They do sell locking magnetic knife holders, which are a bit more pricey, but worth the piece of mind. I agree though, never store knives in a drawer, not only is it not safe but can damage/ruin your knives and wear down the edge.

    I have one at my house for steak knives. Any other sharp knives we have fit into a set, or we just keep them in a plastic container. Sounds awkward, but it works.
