I love these things :) And I love latkes.. I make it with many clotted cream and garlic. Try it ;)

And it was goodto read, that gulash is your favourite, but believe me, it’s simply not jewish. Even if everybody cooks it here, ‘couse it’s Hungary’s vary traditional food.

I place my latkes on a cooling rack set over a shallow wide pan with the paper towels underneath to let any excess oil drip off. I really liked Izzy’s recipe! Next time I’ll make them using his proportions. Thanks so much for the video!

I bet they are tasty as hell, but they would be less greasy if he didn’t crowd the pan so much.

One at a time is the way to go.

Those latkes are the real deal & are pretty much the same latkes of my childhood; the latkes my late bubby used to make & my mom now makes & the ones I too make every Hannukah. People should take note of his recipe because no embellishments are required. Topped with some sour cream (& sometimes apple sauce) & these babies are over the top.

That’s how I did when I was little, but as I got older I switched to the chives…

  20. Anonymous on August 26th, 2008

There are many ways to eat these my preference is apple sauce and a little sugar sprinkled right on the latke. Mmmmm

It tastes yummy with applesauce. You´ll need a lot of oil to fry them. Otherwise they did´nt taste that good.
