lol, I just use costo burgers and i just season them with pepper salt and a tiny bit of garlic salt. Then I just let it sit for like 10 mins and then flip them when it has blood on top, or when it looks good enough. Ive cooked like 500 burgers and so far, only 1 has kinda sucked because I pressed it a lot

Actually the hamburger is all American. There are several stories as to the origin of THE first restaurant to invent/serve the hamburger, but they are all of American origin.
Regardless of the story no one questions that Hamburg steak, a German dish, did precede the Hamburger. We Americans just added the buns and fixings.
In short, Hamburg steak is German and the Hamburger is American.
