Thank you Dr. Mercola and Lucy. I look forward to cooking ideas, as I am trying to convert over to Mercola’s plan for eating.

    Hi Lucy,

Thanks for an excellent presentation. I guess you’re English - and so am I.

In your various presentations it would be good if you could describe foods by their UK names as well as their USA ones. The ingredients for some of the recipes in Dr. Mercola’s book are hard to identify if you don’t live in the States!

All the best, and thank you

    Dr. David Brand

Thank you so much for starting this video series. I have been interested in changing my diet over to all raw and need ideas how to get started. I have chemical sensitivities and have started to detox but feel that eating raw will be of great benefit in this area. Your statement about how overwhelming a diet change can be rings true for me in this process. Thanks for helping me through this ordeal.

I am a 52 year old former “eat whatever is placed in front of me kind of guy”. I had chronic heartburn, weight issues and usually felt “blah”. During this past year I have become a regular subscriber to Dr. Mercola as well as to the Weston Price Foundation. My motto is now “eat nothing refined, processed or out of a box and consume only organic or pesticide free fruits, vegatables, grains, meats and raw dairy products” I have never been heatlhier, happier or in better shape.

Lucy, thank you. You are a pleasure to watch. I love cooking shows, so I am very interested to see how someone who feels differently will present their recipes! Perhaps you could include information on sprouting seeds in your series, I think that would be helpful to many folks.

There is a Raw Recipe for Pistachio Halvah that is excellent. I found it in The Complete Book of Raw Food. The recipe is as follows: 2 cups raw tahini, 1/2 cup raw honey, 1 tsp. vanilla extract, 1/2 cup raw shelled pistachios. Add all ingredients except pistachios to food processor with an “S” blade. Mix and then fold in pistachios. Shape into loaf pan and refrigerate for 2 hours. Slice into pieces and serve. I look forward to hearing more recipes. ENJOY!

I am very excited about your cooking videos. I am 32yrs and have just been diagnosed with Reiter’s syndrome and have many of the symptoms you have had in the past (arthritis, inflamation of eye). I think this may be the answer for me. I can’t wait to start trying some of the recipes. Thanks!

I am very interested in any and all raw food recipes, since I too have picky eaters here and it is needed and wanted. Thanks for this feature!

WOW Thanks. I have been thinking and feeling so many of the same things. Lucy appears to be a real woman that has started the journey that I need to as well. Thanks for doing this, maybe I can get my brain wrapped around this now and take the plunge. As a single mother of two with limited (usually negative) resources I have been fearful of spending money in a wild goose chase. I hope this will be the direction and guidence I need to really get going.

I really like the concept and Lucy is refreshingly humble and honest without being nasty. However, if the pursuant video clips pause every two to eight seconds throughout the entire clip as the original did, I will be reticent to take the time to watch/listen. Interestingly, when I clicked on the comment on video tab and the clip came up playing as I write this comment, there was not one pause. Something in the transmission needs tweaking!

This new feature is a great idea. Will I have the opportunity to e-mail Lucy and ask some questions?
